Seeker of Beauty

What exactly is beauty? Where do you find it? For myself, beauty is simply that which moves me. Sometimes I find beauty where many others find it for themselves and sometimes I find beauty where few others even deign to notice it. I hereby dedicate my life to seeking out and creating beauty so that the world might discover anew how to be moved by the fluttering of a butterfly's wing.

His Dark Materials

One year from now the film adaption of The Goldan Compass will be hitting theatres. If they do this right it will be unforgettable. This series, for me, rivals the best in children's literature. The Chronicles of Narnia, A Wrinkle in Time, Peter Pan, Harry Potter... none of them can hold a candle to Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials trilogy. If you haven't read it yet, you owe yourself the pleasure. The film website just launched and can be viewed here... www.goldencompassmovie.com
